I would like to know what hosts others use, and about how much they pay per month? I am currently on a shared hosting plan and pay about a year with ixwebhosting, one of the things I love about them is they allow you to host unlimited domains, each with a unique Dedicated IP. The thing I hate about them, is there MySql server is extremely slow, and my website seems to be down more then it is up. I really don’t like moving hosting, and I dont want to make the same mistake again, so I am looking for a good quality web host, with uptime, and speed. If I have to spend a little extra that is fine as my sites have been making some money now and I would like to reinvest into them. One thing I do want is the host to offer unique Dedicated IPs, as I currently have 7 sites. I know HostGator, and others charge – extra $5 a month, per Dedicated IP. That is getting a little pricey, as I have 7, on top of the hosting fees. If I have to spend the extra money I will, but if anyone can make a recommendation to a quality web host, with good uptime and speed, that would be even better. I own online casino affiliate websites. My currently (3 year plan) expires in 15 days, and I am looking for USA hosting.
Question about host unlimited domains: I am considering transfer my websites to yahoo hosting seems it is more stable (I assumed less server down), but I couldn’t find nowhere on the website mentioned about hosting multiple domains. So, anybody can tell me can I host unlimited domains in just one account in yahoo hosting?
I like Verio but they are charging too much. Can any one tell me old web hosting companies except so many cheap companies.
They says unlimited everything. But I need limited things . Do any one have info about after Verio which can be affordable. My budget is not more than $36 year. I need professional web hosting without any restriction. I want to make email on sub domain as well, please tell me any one. Thanks!
Yes, literally a starving artist. I am a college student and I rely solely on the purchases of my artworks for my income. What I need is a web host that will allow for the unlimited upload of my photos, perhaps something like Flickr, but with an easier to navigate format and a page for my about me. I would use Flickr but it only allows 100MB a month in downloads and I have several GB of photos, and it would take me years to get all my photos on there.I have a domain already, I don’t need that, just someplace I can put all my pictures and show them off to clients. Let me stress that I CANNOT PUT ANY MONEY in this whatsoever — I don’t care how cheap it is. PLEASE do not reply with ANYTHING that costs money. I am looking for FREE, as you can tell with my question. Thanks! P.S. don’t be retarded and tell me that I won’t find a good host for free. I fully understand that I will not find something totally flexible to my needs. I’m not stupid. I just know there are free web hosting servers, I just can’t find them.

Alright kiddies, I could use some help figuring out who to go for for web hosting nowadays. Here’s my list of requirements, and how much I can pay.
I’m looking for roughly 2 years of hosting for 0 USD.
The other conditions are as follows:
Unlimited xfer / storage.
no less than 10 databases (mysql preferred, although I could use postgre if absolutely necessary)
No limit on database queries.
up-to-date php / mysql support
Support for NO less than 3 domains (preferably providing 1-2 with the contract, and allowing me to transfer my existing one)
I know very little about designing or building websites (or obtaining a domain name). When trying to research all the options through a google search I was a bit overwhelmed. Plus, when I find sites that have reviews it is difficult to tell if they are “sponsored” reviews or reviews from regular users. What are some recommendations?
A site that I’ve been looking at is HostMonster.com for about .95/mo. That price appears all-inclusive with unlimited “web hosting space”. I’m not clear on whether that means monthly bandwidth or if that means storage space.
I need something something fairly easy to set up and manager, meaning I don’t need to know a lot of “techy” language. The main purpose will be set up a small photography site where I can post my portfolio of pictures for viewing and my background.
